Yes. It checks IFC models against IDS files, the buildingSMART standard for information requirements. Its open source engine, IFC Lite, gives the specified result on all 334 of buildingSMART’s IDS test cases.
Yes. IFC Checker comes with starter checks written after published requirements: VNĪ’s information requirements (Annex 2, “Informācijas detalizācijas prasības”, V2.3), the Rail Baltica Design Guidelines (BIM EIR 0107 and Attributes Matrix 0102) and COBie 2.4. Use them as they are, or start your own IDS from them in the IDS editor.
Pass, Fail or Untested for every element, a model correctness index from 0.00 to 1.00, a 3D view with failing and untested elements in colour, and the results as BCF 2.1 issues, an Excel workbook and a CSV file.
